No one is disgusted by
The granny who contracted the virus while drinking her morning tea
The Flower City of Guangzhou is ever calm and relaxing
The super-rich wear flipflops and shorts all year round
Stroll to the street stalls to eat seafood porridge
Morning tea is sighing, supper is also moaning
Not enough wealth for the large population to share, sailing a dragon boat in a teapot
Even if the wallet is flat, your appearance unglamourous
At the first meeting, everyone will call you
Handsome boy! Beautiful girl!
This is Guangzhou, dare to take responsibility, dare to defeat
It quarantines thirty thousand overseas guests every day
Most are returning relatives
The city of Guangzhou, without exception welcomes all visitors within its gates
The City of Flowers is only in love with flowers, the blooming flowers dazzle people’s eyes
Indeed its citizens are also flowers, kapok flowers, poincianas and plum blossom
They queue, flower buds
And flower buds, they merge into one, blooming flowers are like satin
One person achieves one city, one city takes over one country
Dares to be pioneering, to defeat this virus
The slim waist takes great responsibility,the White Cloud Airport
Whoever comes here feels at home
When crisis and accident approach, the people of Guangzhou

The volunteers and the commuters are still busy

疫情中从容的广州
杨克
没有一个人嫌弃
那个饮早茶染疫的阿婆
花城从来云淡风轻
富豪常年穿拖鞋短裤
去大排档喝艇仔粥
早茶是叹，夜宵也是喫
葱多盐少，单枞茶里划龙舟
哪怕囊中羞涩，颜值有亏
初遇每一个人都叫你
靓仔！靓女！
这就是广州，敢当，敢挡
以一城之力
每天隔离三万境外来客
更多是国外归来的亲人
广府，一概不拒之门外
花城只恋花，繁花乱眼
市民其实也是花，木棉，凤凰花，三角梅
某某与某某，他们一一出列，花骨朵
和花骨朵，就这么连成一体，繁花似锦
一人成就一个城，一座城承担一个国
敢为天下先，先挡这病毒
小蛮腰有大担当，白云机场
任一个人来到这都宾至如家
危机和意外来临时，广州人
彻夜排队接受排查，没有抱怨
大雨倾盆。核酸采样的护士没有躲
市民也没有避，打着伞
遮住了看不见脸的护士
而旁边的医生也没离开
红色塑料椅套住头，雨打芭蕉
没有封城，大街也空荡荡
上下九也从没这么冷清过
居家煲汤，喝茶，闲看一片云
自顾自生活
志愿者和上班族，依旧忙碌

杨克，当代汉语诗人中一以贯之具有个人化历史想象力和求真意志的诗人，其城市诗歌写作开启了某种意义上的主体性。30多年来，他的现代诗走在“另一条大道上，那里有广阔的情感和传统的支撑，诗人可以大踏步走在人群前面”。
在人民文学出版社和台湾华品文创有限公司等出版《杨克的诗》《有关与无关》《我说出了风的形状》等11部中文诗集、4部散文随笔集和1本文集，日本思潮社、美国俄克拉赫马大学出版社、西班牙萨拉戈萨大学出版社等出版多种外语诗集，诗文收入《中国新文学大系》《中国新诗百年大典》等400种选本。主编《中国新诗年鉴（1998-2017每个年度）》《给孩子的100首新诗》等。
曾获英国“剑桥徐志摩诗歌奖”、罗马尼亚出版版权总公司“杰出诗人奖”，广东鲁迅文艺奖、首届双年十佳诗人奖等外国、中国大陆和台湾文学奖十多种。在深圳美术馆等举办过诗书个展。现为广东外语外贸大学创意写作中心主任、云山讲座教授，北京大学诗歌研究院研究员。系中国作家协会主席团委员，中国诗歌学会会长。
