Mother, reminding me again and again
Yu Dong

It's really emphatic.
The heart is also long.
Every time I go back to my hometown in the countryside of Midian
I saw my mother cooking and frying eggs.
Burn a big bundle of firewood.
I made up my mind to buy an induction cooker.
Even though I cook every day
Fire and smoke condensed into rain on her mother's face.
I always see my mother
Wipe away the water at the corner of your eye with the back of your hand.
With a face as radiant as spring again.

I said, "The field is too flat."
I need to hire workers.
It's inconvenient to use firewood.
Need to change the stove.
The house is too old.
Plastic surgery is needed.
A family sat under a pale yellow electric lamp.
The father remained silent.
Mother opened her mouth and said --
You do your job well.
Don't worry about family matters.
The next topic is
They are fresh and poor.
Hungry and strong-willed.
It seems like people who become rich
None of them are good things.
The mother's argument is that
Not greedy and not taking advantage of others.
It is the reason why the family is poor.
Early in life, my father was on the road.
Carrying money in a sack
Old calluses have formed on my back.
For the construction of the Yunnan-Tibet Railway
Many colleagues sacrificed themselves.
The savings book left behind
It was handed over to the family of the deceased by his father with difficulty.
Among the millions of workers
Dad is the only one who memorizes bills every day.
Ride in a big truck
Days and nights
In the sack that I rested my head on when I was sleepy
It's all white money.
If you want to get rich, you should have become rich long ago.
Mother also said
So many years have passed.
A peaceful life
The house should be a bit old.
It's normal for the quilt to be thin.
I have never wanted any extra money.
I've never wanted a pie in the sky.
As long as there is no illness or pain
As long as there is a conscience
As long as the feelings are still there
Even if it's just radishes and cabbage every day,
More expensive than gold
More valuable than silver
We've all lived to this age.
Many things have become clear.
Don't be shy, children.
We have two meals a day.
Simple tea and plain food
I traded it for health and conscience.

Mother, reminding me again and again
It seems to be saying—
The simple life of her father and her
It is a blessing from the previous life.
The face of our children
All the masks are made of white paper.

The mother doesn't know the Bible.
Her simple conclusion is
Once heaven has entrusted wealth to a person,
He will call the insects to bite his conscience.
